PRAY.
We have been praying against Satan since the day we arrived and we have prayed for God to claim this land for His kingdom. Tonight there was a crime to the extent that roads were closed down and there are police everywhere with dogs. Guess where the edge of the tape line stops? The doorway right beside our own. Satan cannot make it to our house but he has come dangerously close. We prayed over the area walking home from church and were watched out of windows. Pretty entertaining I guess:P Pray against Satan in this place. He is threatened by us and this is the second sign today.
Earlier this morning on our prayer walk (in which we pick up rubbish) a woman yelled out her window to "get the *&@# out of here" while we were walking down an alley we have been praying for. It is littered with rubbish and there is a mental hospital on it. It is a very poor area and interesting enough it is the alley right behind a church.
I also remember someone mentioning about the people who lived in this house before us being involved in witchcraft. We have prayed that the image of our house would be Gods love. Pray for the Lord to Reign in this place. It is His and these are His people.
We just found out that it was a "very serious assault" but there were no details when we ran tea and biscuits out to the police. Pray for healing for the people and families involved.

ReplyDeleteI pray in the name of Jesus that Satan would not have rule over the house and street in which JOrdan is staying. I pray God for your protection and your guidance in all they do. I pray you would keep them out of harms way and make it clear to them what is safe and what is not. Please protect them physically, emotionally and spiritually. In Jesus Name.

Jordan, always have faith and confidence in God. He's always been with you. He's never left you. And He certainly won't be leaving you now. The power of prayer is astonishing. And what you've said today is just more proof that God is watching you and taking care of you. Focus on the love. Focus on your deep passion for people. Focus on your fellowship. Dwell on the lessons you're learning from the Lord. Focus on whatever is true, pure, noble, lovely, just, etc.
